The Fergana Valley, located in Uzbekistan, is a region with great cultural and historical richness as well as significant economic potential in the textile sector. For this reason, the regional director for Central Asia of ACIR Southern Europe, Miguel de la Cruz Salcedo, along with the chargé d’affaires a.i. of Spain in Uzbekistan, Gonzalo Fournier, visited the region to learn firsthand about its resources and needs.

ACIR Southern Europe has successfully organized various business promotion events between Southern Europe and Uzbekistan. These events took place in Tashkent and Bukhara and involved the participation of over 30 companies from diverse sectors such as textiles, food, agribusiness, construction materials, and information technology.
