First International Non-Food Products Fair NON-FOOD ASIA EXPO 2023

November 9 marked an important milestone with the start of the first International Non-Food Products Fair NON-FOOD ASIA EXPO 2023. This event took place at the “Atakent” exhibition complex in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Over three days, more than 3,850 industry professionals participated in the fair. According to preliminary data, about 250 purchase contracts for the year 2024 were signed at the exhibition venue.

Buyers from Azerbaijan, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Latvia, Mongolia, UAE, Republic of Belarus, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and Japan attended the fair. The main store chains and wholesale companies in the region were also present.

Innovations and awarded products

More than 100 companies presented their premieres and novelties in categories such as tableware, household chemicals and cosmetics, plastic products, household items, appliances, interior items, home fragrances, gifts and children’s products, and products for the garden and country house. Buyers had the opportunity to live meet hundreds of brands, both new and known.

ACIR Southern Europe was present at the fair as a specialist in trade and investment relations between Central Asia and Southern Europe, contributing its vast experience through its participation in specialized tables during the event.

Our specialists, in conjunction with local partners, have reached preliminary agreements for the marketing of Spanish cosmetics, including a variety of bath products such as shampoos and soaps, as well as cleaning products from Italy. Based on these products, the following three working directions will be developed:

1. Creation of efficient distribution channels for these products within local markets.
2. Development of marketing and promotion strategies to increase the visibility and demand for these products.
3. Establishment of solid relationships with the main retail chains to ensure the availability of these products to consumers.
