Behind outstanding food products lies more than quality: there are family traditions, generations of expertise and businesses with a proven ability to compete internationally.
The ACIR Southern Europe project office team carried out an intensive programme of business meetings in Castilla-La Mancha, meeting producers of Manchego cheese, olive oil, wine, black garlic, confectionery and preserved foods.
Quality, heritage and international potential
Our specialists explored new product collections and high production standards while learning about the stories of the companies and families behind internationally recognised brands.
This direct engagement helps us assess not only product quality, but also export potential and suitability for consumer preferences across Central Asian markets.
An ecosystem supporting exports
During the meetings, we presented the complementary instruments available through ACIR’s business ecosystem: access to financing, professional training for local specialists, enhanced insurance solutions, and promotional and marketing campaigns implemented directly in destination markets.
Our objective is to provide European producers with a comprehensive internationalisation proposal, combining outstanding products with practical tools that facilitate market entry and commercial development.
From Castilla-La Mancha to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan
The next step will be to organise product presentations in Central Asian markets and begin negotiations with distributors in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, preparing the ground for initial commercial operations.
ACIR Southern Europe continues to build a bridge between European producers and regional partners, turning Spanish gastronomic excellence into tangible international business opportunities.
