ACIR and Kazakhstan Advance Water Treatment Innovations

ACIR Southern Europe met with Kazakhstan’s leading organization in water treatment, irrigation, and canalization to explore new cooperation opportunities. The discussions focused on integrating European technological innovations with local expertise to enhance water management efficiency and sustainability.

As part of this collaboration, ACIR proposed five key areas of work:

1️⃣ Optimization of water resource usage through advanced monitoring and digital control systems.
2️⃣ Implementation of purification and desalination technologies to improve water quality in scarce regions.
3️⃣ Development of smart irrigation infrastructure to optimize consumption and reduce waste.
4️⃣ Integration of renewable energy in treatment plants, promoting sustainable and efficient solutions.
5️⃣ Wastewater management and reuse in industrial and agricultural sectors.

ACIR Southern Europe introduced a range of solutions, equipment, and technologies developed by its European partners to support these initiatives. In the coming days, technical teams will assess these proposals and proceed with the implementation of corresponding roadmaps.
