Ongoing ACIR Projects in 2025: Consolidation and Growth in Central Asia and Southern Europe

2025 has been a key year for ACIR Southern Europe, consolidating the presence of companies from Central Asia and Southern Europe on both continents. Thanks to strategic partnerships and continuous support from ACIR, companies have been able to develop sustainable and long-term projects. In this article, we highlight the 6 strategic directions that marked the growth in 2025.

1. Pharmaceuticals: A key growing sector

The pharmaceutical sector, traditionally complex, has shown significant progress in 2025. ACIR facilitated agreements between Southern European and Central Asian companies, with tangible results including new formulas, molecules, and project financing. The sector received a substantial boost through the integration of materials and equipment from Europe. In the coming months, relationships will be solidified with the registration of new products and the introduction of new European companies.

2. Cosmetics: Promising growth ahead

The cosmetics sector remains one of the most promising. Pilot tests organized by ACIR with partners in Central Asia demonstrated excellent acceptance of high-quality cosmetics that respect environmental standards. The introduction of medical cosmetics has opened new growth avenues for European companies. Products such as serums, skin repair products, and sunscreen have gained significant market space in Central Asia. In 2026, the range will expand to include men’s cosmetics, children’s products, and eco-friendly cosmetics.

3. Food Products: Successful diversification

The food sector has been ACIR’s star line in 2025. The consortium of exporting companies has expanded its product range beyond wines, olives, and cheeses, to include sweets, home products, vegetable and fruit preserves, and fish and seafood. In 2026, a special beverages line, more gourmet products, and new products across price categories will be added to the export offering.

An integrated ecosystem for successful business expansion

These sectors benefit from ACIR Southern Europe’s ecosystem, which provides access to financial instruments, transaction insurance, marketing services, product registration, and client searches. This ensures a fast and effective market entry into Central Asia with the backing of a reliable and professional framework.
