Galicia strengthens its presence in Eurasian countries.
Galicia is strengthening its presence in Eurasian countries through its collaboration with ACIR Southern Europe. ACIR specialists visited Galicia to hold various meetings with local partners, representatives of institutional organizations, and new companies interested in being present in the interesting Eurasian market.
Galicia: Collaboration with Eurasian countries
At the meeting with the President of the Confederation of Galician Entrepreneurs, various institutional and practical cooperation issues were discussed, which organizations can offer their members. In particular, topics related to support in internationalization, financing, and finding buyers/distributors/suppliers.
Special emphasis was placed on the maritime theme, in which the region is positioned as one of the main suppliers of goods and services. Opportunities for cooperation in this sector were analyzed, as well as the participation of companies in events that organizations will hold in the coming months.
Together with the Galician Institute of Economic Development (Igape), issues were discussed that will contribute to the inflow of Eurasian capital to promote projects in this region, as well as the export of local products and services to Eurasian markets.
In addition, issues related to information exchange and joint information sessions were discussed, which contribute to knowledge exchange between companies and organizations in the regions.
These meetings are a continuation of a series of online events held in February of this year, which helped demonstrate ACIR’s business and investment opportunities for Spanish companies.
