Meeting with the President of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce

The President of ACIR Southern Europe, Eduard Gulián, along with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Spain, H.E. Farrukh Tursunov, and the Honorary Consul of Uzbekistan in Valencia, Mr. José María Chiquillo, met with the President of the Valencia Chamber of Commerce to analyze the business and investment opportunities that the Valencian Community offers for Uzbek and Central Asian companies.

This meeting was made possible thanks to the constant work carried out by ACIR in the region and the various projects that have been implemented in recent years.

Discussion of Important Projects

The participants discussed various projects with Valencian companies and their representation in Central Asia. The importance of establishing a robust and effective business platform that allows streamlining commercial activities between countries was highlighted.

The topic of the Spain-Uzbekistan Business Council was also addressed, a space that seeks to strengthen trade relations between both regions, as well as provide solutions to the most important problems that exist in international trade.

Similarly, issues related to logistics and grant programs were discussed, including the crucial role of the Turkey bridge in these matters.

Finally, the meeting served to establish a schedule of seminars and regular meetings between the Embassy, the Chamber of Commerce, and ACIR. This joint effort will allow more effective and fluid cooperation between the parties.
