Exploring New Opportunities in Kazakhstan’s Pharmaceutical Sector

Recently, we have advanced strategic discussions with key players in Kazakhstan’s pharmaceutical sector. Our focus is on creating synergies that drive innovation in critical areas like packaging and health product distribution, while strengthening collaborations with international producers to ensure the supply of essential components.

In Kazakhstan, the pharmaceutical industry comprises a robust network of 35 manufacturers from different origins, with major players from Poland and Turkey. This network not only facilitates distribution across all regions but also includes customs warehouses and logistical hubs in Almaty. We see a growing trend toward relocating trade flows, establishing Almaty as a regional hub.

With its own network of over 60 pharmacies and more than 300 contracts, 160 of which are direct imports, Kazakhstan’s operators also integrate into national pharmacy alliances and demonstrate a strong commitment to quality certifications such as GMP and GRR.

From our perspective, we are analyzing how we can add value to this thriving sector. We aim to identify pharmaceutical manufacturers and associations interested in collaboration while understanding supply needs to create strategic connections that drive regional sector growth.
