BeautyMed Expo Almaty strengthens international business cooperation

The city of Almaty hosted a new edition of the International BeautyMed Expo, reinforcing its position as one of the leading events in the cosmetics and medical products sector for cosmetology in Central Asia. Nearly one hundred companies from the region and abroad participated, highlighting steady market growth.

In addition to industry specialists, the event featured companies from the food sector focused on skin, hair, and overall body care. This reflects a clear trend toward integrated health and beauty solutions, combining nutrition and cosmetology within a single value chain.

Representatives of ACIR Southern Europe in Almaty held working meetings with local producers and companies from Italy and France attending the expo. European businesses are strategically interested in entering the Central Asian market through ACIR’s established business ecosystem, optimizing operational efficiency.

As a result, follow-up meetings were scheduled in Italy, along with virtual sessions between technical teams to assess cooperation feasibility. Three key areas of work have been identified:

1. Distribution of European products in key Central Asian cities.
2. Financing of import/export operations.
3. Joint production or contract manufacturing opportunities.

These developments reinforce Almaty’s role as a strategic hub connecting Europe and Central Asia, positioning ACIR as a key facilitator of international business projects.
