Almaty Chamber of Commerce and ACIR strengthen cooperation to promote business internationalization

The Regional Director of ACIR Southern Europe for Central Asia, held an important meeting with the Director of the Almaty Chamber of Commerce, to discuss the areas of work that will be offered to Kazakh and Spanish companies to facilitate their internationalization.

A strategic meeting with an eye to the future

The meeting, held at the headquarters of the Almaty Chamber of Commerce, served to strengthen ties between the two institutions and lay the foundation for strategic cooperation that will benefit companies in both countries. During the meeting, which took place in a warm and productive atmosphere, various topics of mutual interest were discussed, such as:

• Strengthening trade relations between Kazakhstan and Spain: Both sides agreed on the need to intensify trade between the two countries, taking advantage of the enormous potential that exists for cooperation in various sectors.
• Promoting business internationalization: The need to provide companies with tools and services that facilitate their entry into new markets was stressed. In this regard, various avenues for cooperation were explored, such as the organization of trade missions, the holding of seminars and webinars, and the exchange of information on business opportunities in both markets.
• Promoting foreign investment: The importance of stimulating foreign investment as a driver of economic growth was highlighted. In this context, it was agreed to collaborate in identifying investment opportunities for Kazakh and Spanish companies in both countries.

A solid foundation for cooperation

As a result of the meeting, the foundations for fruitful cooperation between the Almaty Chamber of Commerce and ACIR Southern Europe were laid. Both parties agreed to work together on the implementation of various initiatives, such as:

• Creation of a joint working group: A working group will be established, made up of representatives of both organizations, to identify specific areas of cooperation and develop concrete action plans.
• Organization of joint events: Seminars, webinars and trade missions will be held to inform companies about the business opportunities that exist in both markets.
• Exchange of information: A permanent communication channel will be established to exchange information on business opportunities, events and policies related to business internationalization.

The Almaty Chamber of Commerce and ACIR Southern Europe are convinced that cooperation between the two institutions will contribute to the internationalization of Kazakh and Spanish companies and the strengthening of trade ties between the two countries.
