Advancing pharmaceutical projects in Central Asia with European technologies

Cooperation between Southern Europe and Central Asia continues to strengthen in strategic sectors like pharmaceuticals.

In this context, the President of ACIR Southern Europe held a working meeting with the CEO of an Uzbek pharmaceutical company, a partner in ongoing trade and investment initiatives.

The Uzbek delegation visited Spain to explore the wide range of European technologies and opportunities available for their project, aiming to strengthen the local production capacity and identify partners for expansion.

The visit included meetings with specialized clusters, technology providers, equipment manufacturers, and pharmaceutical associations. Financial institutions interested in supporting technology transfer and local production in Central Asia also joined the agenda.
