ACIR strengthens investment cooperation with Uzbekistan

Promoting investment opportunities in Central Asia is one of the key activities of ACIR Southern Europe. Gaining deep knowledge of local markets, implementing effective cooperation mechanisms, and promoting the advantages of these destinations helps bring European companies closer to new growth regions.

As part of this mission, the President of ACIR Southern Europe, Eduard Gulián, held a working meeting with representatives of Uzbekistan’s Investment Promotion Agency. The session allowed both parties to review current joint projects, explore new collaboration pathways, and address concerns raised by European business partners.

Practical investment with long-term vision

Key sectors such as pharmaceuticals, agricultural technologies, water management, and urban infrastructure were discussed. Both sides underlined the importance of faster and more transparent tools for foreign investment, as well as the growing interest of European clusters in transferring technologies or establishing local partnerships.

A roadmap was agreed upon to provide potential investors with clear information, connect them with funding sources, and coordinate future business missions to Uzbekistan.
