ACIR strengthens cooperation at the Kazakhstan – Spain Business Council

On March 18 in Madrid, ACIR Southern Europe participated in the Kazakhstan – Spain Business Council, a key event for strengthening trade and investment relations between both countries.

Eduard Gulián, President of ACIR, along with representatives of Spanish and Kazakh companies, discussed the current state of cooperation in strategic sectors such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, water treatment, and food production technologies. In the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sector, efforts focus on technology transfer and innovative products to expand market offerings in Kazakhstan. In water treatment, ACIR promotes advanced solutions for efficient resource management, a crucial aspect of sustainability. In food production, initiatives incorporate new technologies to enhance quality and efficiency, facilitating access to international markets. Additionally, the importance of creating structures that provide companies with the necessary tools to conduct business was emphasized.

Additionally, individual meetings were held with representatives from Baiterek, the Chamber of International Commerce, and the JSC Development Bank of Kazakhstan. During these meetings, Kazakh organizations highlighted ACIR’s work and expressed their willingness to continue collaborating in new areas, as well as to promote and strengthen existing initiatives.

ACIR’s participation in this forum reaffirms its commitment to fostering initiatives that promote trade and investment between Southern Europe and Central Asia.
